Korean BBQ Chicken Tacos

Sabaidee!  Happy Taco Tuesday!  I am a huge fan of tacos and can eat it any day of the week.  Living in San Diego, we can get amazing tacos practically all over town.  However, I like to make my own.  These Korean BBQ Chicken Tacos are delicious!

I learned how to make this recipe from Food Blogger, Whitney Bond.  She’s not only a cool girl from Oklahoma but she can throw down in the kitchen.  Since the day Whitney shared this dish, I have made it 4 times (within a 2 month period).  All it requires is a slow cooker, chicken, tortillas, veggies, and ingredients which I know, you have in your pantry.

You can find this recipe at http://whitneybond.com/slow-cooked-korean-bbq-chicken-tacos/.  She provides a photo tutorial of ingredients and easy steps to follow.  Throw all the ingredients in the slow cooker and after 3-4 hours (high) or 8 hours (low), you will have yourself some yummy tacos!

P.S. I made a few adjustments to the recipe.  I can’t eat anything too salty, sweet, and spicy therefore my version consists of less soy sauce and chili garlic sauce.  I used, 1 cup of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of chili garlic sauce and squeezed lime on the tacos before serving.  The lime added a fresh taste to balance the heat.  I promise it is not that spicy.  Give it a go and I promise, you will not regret it!  Let me know if you like it.  Ma Der!  Ma Der!
